Compassionate End-of-Life Doula Services

Supporting others through the end of life is not just my work—it’s my calling. It is my honor to walk alongside those navigating this tender chapter, offering a calm presence during moments often filled with uncertainty and emotion. My approach centers on creating a space where complex decisions can be made with clarity, grief can be met with compassion, and legacies can be honored in ways that feel deeply meaningful. Whether it’s through planning, support, or simply holding space, my commitment is to provide care, understanding, and unwavering support every step of the way.

End-of-Life Doula Services

End-of-Life Planning

I offer a compassionate presence, creating a safe space for individuals to express their feelings, fears, and hopes. Together, we can explore care preferences, organize essential documents, and facilitate legacy projects that reflect your values and wishes. Additionally, I assist in designing meaningful rituals to honor and celebrate life’s journey, ensuring every detail is approached with thoughtfulness and care.

Sacred Space Creation

I bring a calming presence during the final days of life, helping to create an atmosphere of peace and comfort for individuals and their loved ones. Services include maintaining a steady presence, offering respite for caregivers, guiding families through the dying process, and advocating for honoring personal wishes with respect and dignity.

Early Grief Support

I provide gentle guidance for families navigating the early stages of grief. My services include help with immediate tasks, support for emotional processing, and education about the mourning and grieving process. Referrals to additional resources are available as needed to ensure continued support.

Death Positive Workshops and Trainings

I facilitate safe and welcoming spaces for open conversations about death, dying, and grief, with the goal of easing fear and discomfort. These workshops and trainings encourage exploration, foster understanding, and nurture acceptance, all tailored to meet your specific needs. If you are interested in hosting a workshop or training, I am here to provide you with the necessary support and guidance.

My Heart as an End-of-Life Doula

My mission is to offer emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical support to those nearing the end of life and their caregivers. I strive to ease the discomfort and fear surrounding death, inviting curiosity, acceptance, and meaningful exploration of life’s final chapter. Through creating safe and supportive spaces, I help individuals and families navigate end-of-life decisions, find solace in their grief, and honor loved ones in deeply personal ways. I specialize in providing support for unique and challenging situations, including end-stage cancer journeys, families with children, and sole child caregivers. While these are my areas of focus, I am deeply committed to honoring and supporting everyone I work with, ensuring each person feels seen, valued, and cared for during this profound time.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Question: Are you available for home deaths as well as deaths in healthcare facilities?
Answer: Yes, I can provide support both in home deaths and deaths that occur in healthcare facilities.
  • Question: Is a death doula the same as a hospice worker?
Answer: While there may be some overlap in the services provided, a death doula and a hospice worker have different roles. During our initial call, I will take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your needs, and discuss my services and approach.
